Ireland was beautiful, and moody. The people were wonderfully open. I talked to a crazy 50 year old in a pub, who was visiting her daughter who arrived in Ireland with a backpack and a bicycle but met and married an organic farmer. Strange. I started writing a death-wears-no-pants story, but I told the plot to my mother and she loved it so much she started writing it, so now we have an extra addition to the project and I need a new idea again.

Scotland was beautiful, and varied. During a two day cross-country drive, we thought we were in Norway's fjords, Colorado's Mountains, and Canada's coves. We visited Cawdor Castle, of Macbeth fame (although the castle itself wouldn't have been built for 400 years when Macbeth was around).

Now I'm in Germany, with Mary, and I'm really loving it. Berlin is beautiful, and her cousin Alyssa is wonderfullz mothery and kind. After two weeks on the road, Berlin really feels like home.

Alas, I'm tired. Enjoy! I can probably answer email on a regular basis now, so drop me a note and I'll try to answer. g'day
