Fear not, I'm not neglecting you because I think you're ugly. My internet's been down so I haven't been able to update.

Mary and I drove up to Westfield, Massachusetts this weekend for Alyssa and Christian's engagement party. It was especially good to see them, because they're usually in Germany. This was the first time I'd ever seen Alyssa in the same room as her mother, Gingi, which was fun, and the first time we'd met any of Alyssa's friends or family. Gingi married into this beautiful Italian family, which was entertainment in itself (Cousin Louie had his greased mullet, and at the last wedding 90 year-old gramma tisch kept asking for more Mike's hard lemonade). We also got to meet Alyssa's friends, all hilarious. Susan had a realization that our waitress looked like a vulcan, and thenforth pulled her ears back and to a point whenever she said "waitress." They're planning a party to end all parties in Boston (I think it will be their "last great" party, as they're all approaching thirty may want to burn out strong). They promised to invite us.
