Being out of the country, I didn't celebrate this Fourth of July with fireworks, or sparklers, or even with anything. The best I did was pick up the first few chapters of Noam Chomsky's "Pirates and Emperors" about International Terrorism and Washington's Foreign Policy that I got from my Irish buddy J.C., where he wrote "
Fight the Power!" and "
Live Dangerously! If man is born free, why is he everywhere in chains?" on the title page. Some celebration is better than nothing, no?
