Monday, December 05, 2005 - I know this shit...
We went to $1 cover Thursday Night at the Comdey club again this week, and saw this comedian from Tulsa, who had a dirty, dirty mind. His sense of humor was just like Mary's father, so we picked up the cd. Track 2 is "I wonder about shit" and track 3 is "I know this shit." Sadly, I didn't make it to the Cabaret, because Wednesday night I'd gone with Nikki to the monthly drag show, and was too broke financialy and emotionally to go "clubing" two nights in a row. It was a reunion of sorts for her, because she's been across the (other) pond for a semster in Australia, and this was the first time most people had seen her, so all her madison friends were screaming. I remember when she first found out I had a blog, around senior year of high school, and she just scanned it for her name. Well, here it is, finally! We missed ya, welcome home! We had a great time, the show was top notch, actually, with great songs that were fun to sing along with. I can't wait till she's back up here for her last semster (it 'ought to be my second to last, if I can get my ass over to the lab and sign up for some research).
